Currently engaged in the design and manufacture of healthcare furniture and reception desks, mostly within the NHS. Taking the lead from architects, construction companies or customers directly I use CAD and CAM (Sketchup, Cabinet Vision, AutoCad) software to iterate 2D and 3D designs and find the ideal solutions.  We then manufacture in-house from my drawings and data. As well as design, I estimate, quote, and manage projects. In addition, I supervise our NHS Supply Chain relationship. I also have significant responsibility for company branding, marketing and IT and information systems. I also design consumer furniture and kitchen worktops for their sister company Finch & Wolf.

Continued my own business full-time, providing media design and technology solutions to other businesses and individuals. Mostly branding, marketing and web design, it also included IT support. Very experienced with CS suite; Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Various roles over a 15-year period. Started as a Production engineer at EMS’s high tech manufacturing facility with automated machinery and skilled manual workforce. I initiated a visual work instruction program, increasing worker knowledge and productivity. Moved on to QA where I supervised the company design modification and concession systems, CAD drawing (Solid Edge) and ISO / BS / EN policies and compliance.

Then followed 6 years as an IT engineer. Experienced on Windows (Server 2003/8 and desktop XP/7/8/10) and Linux (Centos / Redhat, Ubuntu / Debian) servers in a physical and virtual environment, achieving a high level of uptime. All kinds of IT undertaken; networks, firewalls & security, databases, Group Policy, AD, DNS, hardware, and software. Provided in-house user training including educational videos. Designed and controlled the company website. ITIL V3 trained.
